Radiators no longer have to heat at full power. They can be adjusted with a thermostatic valve that is mounted next to the radiator. Thanks to it, you can get the temperature you feel comfortable at in a selected room. The valves are useful when you want to save energy when the household members are away from home or when you want to increase the temperature on a cold day. The thermostatic valve consists of two elements that work together. The first is a thermostatic head and the other is a radiator valve. The head is the moveable part. Its great advantage is the ease of use ‒ all you need to do is to turn it. To make the adjustment process easier for the user, the head is equipped with a scale, for example from 1 to 5. When you select 1, it means that you want to maintain the so-called standby temperature in the room, preventing water from freezing. To maintain the optimal temperature, the head should be set in the middle position (number 3). It is a good idea to match the thermostatic valve to the head, because such a combination guarantees perfect operation. When the two parts do not match, the temperature adjustment will not work.
